Happy World Food Day

Every October 16, we celebrate the World Food Day, a global observance led by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) that calls for action toward a world where everyone has access to sufficient, safe, nutritious, and sustainable food. Guided by this year’s theme, “Innovate today. Nourish tomorrow.”, we are reminded that innovation, knowledge, and collective action are essential in building a safer and more sustainable food future.
Building a better food system is a shared responsibility: food producers must embrace sustainable practices and innovative technologies; food businesses must adopt improved processes and uphold food safety standards; food safety professionals must continuously strengthen their knowledge and skills through relevant training and development; and the government and other stakeholders must support science-based solutions, promote food safety, and ensure access to safe and nutritious food for all.
As food systems continue to evolve, staying informed about emerging technologies, updated regulations, and current food safety standards is essential. Through continuous learning and professional training, we can turn new knowledge into practical solutions, strengthen food safety practices, prevent contamination, and drive continuous improvements in food safety, quality, and sustainability across the food chain
Institute for Food Safety Advancement, Glenwood Technologies International, Inc., and Food Safety Trends PH support World Food Day. Together, let us embrace innovation, strengthen our commitment to food safety, and work toward a future where everyone has access to safe, nutritious, and sustainable food. INNOVATE NOW. NOURISH TOMORROW.
