ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is one of the most important international standards for testing and calibration laboratories, as it demonstrates a laboratory’s technical competence, ability to produce valid results, and commitment to quality and continual improvement.


This training is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements and their practical application in laboratory operations. It covers key concepts such as quality and accreditation and its benefits, the changes introduced in the latest version of the standard, and a detailed discussion of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 clauses and requirements.

About the Speaker

Engr. Aldwin Tagapan is an active assessment team leader/technical assessor for ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO 15189:2012, and ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standards of the Department of Trade and Industry Philippine Accreditation Bureau (DTI-PAB). He conducts training and workshops on Validation Test Methods, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control in Chemical Analyses, Measurement Uncertainty, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and 2005, among many others.
