About the event
Predictive Microbiology is the study of how microorganisms would react to certain environmental conditions, such as that temperature and pH, with the use of mathematical functions and the aid of specialized software. While it will never replace microbial analysis, predictive microbial models can narrow down possible outcomes when introducing changes in your processes leading to a more efficient validation process.
AREAS COVERED IN SESSION
Introduction to Predictive Microbiology
Brief Review of Food Microbiology
Microbial Modelling Approaches
Applications of Predictive Microbiology in the Food Industry
Illustration or Discussion of Actual Laboratory Experiments in Predictive Microbiology
