To date, there are still no evidence found on the transmission of the virus through food and food packaging. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) highly encourage food workers to refresh their knowledge on food hygiene and sanitation practices so to ensure that they may reduce the risk of contaminating food surfaces, as well as food packaging.
